Son of the head of SAM of Southern Russia disappeared in Rostov-on-Don

In Rostov-on-Don, local militia is searching the son of Jafar Bikmaev, Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims (SAM) of Southern Russia. For the last time he saw his son - Nail Bikmaev, an Imam of one of city's mosques, - on December 19; then, the father addressed the militia.

"Currently, are looking for Bikmaev, Nail Djafarovich, 26, a native of Rostov-on-Don, an Imam. On December 21, an application about his disappearance was submitted to the militia by his father - Jafar Bikmaev. He said that his son had gone out of the house after 11:00 p.m. on December 19, without taking his keys and mobile phone with him. According to his father, Nail took with him his SIM-card and two shirts," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the press service of the Regional GUVD (Chief Interior Department).

The reason for Nail Bikmaev's disappearance is still unknown, but his father said that on the eve of his son's disappearance, on December 18, Nail said goodbye to his friends, the militia said.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent could not get Jafar Bikmaev's comment; however, the SAM of Southern Russia said that the information about abduction of the Imam's son was not true.
