Krasnodar: businessman Kolesnikov released on bail after a year in jail
Today, the Court of the Krasnodar Territory has considered the cassation complaint filed by the defenders of businessman Sergey Kolesnikov, who is kept in the SIZO (pre-trial prison) against another rejection of the petition asking to change his custody for a more lenient freedom restriction measure.
As reported to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Irina Kolesnikova, Sergey's wife and defender, the court of cassation instance decided to let Kolesnikov free under security of the real estate property owned by the Kolesnikov family.
According to Irina, she has already gathered all the necessary documents to be handed over tomorrow to the judicial department. If the court order to change Kolesnikov's freedom restriction measure gets to the Krasnodar SIZO tomorrow, he will be allowed to go home on the following day.
Let us note here that today, December 22, is exactly one year since Sergey Kolesnikov's arrest - he was put behind bars on December 22, 2009.
