In Kalmykia, "Rosfinnadzor" revealed financial violations to more than 2 billion roubles

During the first 11 months of 2010, the Republic of Kalmykia saw about two hundred audits of financial and economic activities of public institutions and federal state unitary enterprises. They revealed financial violations in the sum of 2.135 billion roubles.

This was reported by Anatoly Kekeev, head of the Department for Kalmykia of the Federal Service for Financial and Budgetary Supervision ("Rosfinnadzor") at the sitting of the Republic's Department of Financial and Budgetary Control, held on December 17.

Thus, at construction of hostels of the Kalmyk University, unfulfilled works were paid for. Financial violations were revealed in construction of a 55-apartment block for MIA employees in the fourth district of Elista and in cleaning riverbeds, performed by the Federal State Institution "Kalmkaspvod". The thirty million roubles allocated by the Assistance Fund for Housing Reform were inefficiently used for resettling Elista residents out of emergency houses.

As a result of the audits of, according to the "Rosfinnadzor" Department, they managed to eliminate financial violations to the sum of 948.6 million roubles.
