Freight train exploded in Dagestan

A freight train was blown up in Derbent district of Dagestan. There is no information of injuries.

"At 22:20 Moscow time an explosive device was activated under the locomotive. According to preliminary data, a metal bottom plate of the train got damaged. There has been no derailment of carriages", a source in the republican law enforcement bodies reported.

According to the source, there were about 80 carriages in the train, with no explosive cargo in them. Cynologists with dogs and repair units of railwaymen are currently arriving at the place of the explosion, "Interfax" reports.
