Anti-extremist actions held in Moscow

Two sanctioned actions against ethnically motivated crimes have been completed tonight in Chistoprudny Boulevard in Moscow without any incidents.

According to the GUVD (Chief Interior Department), the anti-extremist actions passed without incidents.

"At 5:30-7 p.m., a picket against nationalism motivated crimes, human rights violations and extremist sentiments took place. Another picket was held at about 8 p.m.; its participants gathered to protest in connection of the murder of the football fan Yegor Sviridov," the "Interfax" quotes a source in the Department of Information and Public Relations of the GUVD.
