Woman wounded by gas explosion in Makhachkala

A powerful explosion of household gas in a multi-storey apartment block in Makhachkala, which broke out window units in nearby houses, injured one woman.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", the explosion occurred at 12:50 a.m. in the fourth level of No. 5zh in Askerkhanov Street.

A woman, who was at the door of her flat at the moment of the explosion, was injured.

According to the press service of the Chief Department of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) for Dagestan, according to preliminary data, the condition of the woman is of moderate gravity.

The volume of the damage caused by the explosion is now clarified by the operative group of the MfE, the "Interfax" reports.
