Ingush MIA denied that Barkinkhoeva detained in Moscow is a terrorist
As stated by an official release of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Ingushetia of December 10, Bella Barkinkhoeva, a resident of Ingushetia, detained by Moscow militia, is not a terrorist.
"The information that the 22-year-old resident of the city of Karabulak, who was detained today by law enforcement agencies in Moscow on suspicion of involvement in illegal armed formations, has nothing to do with reality," said the spokesman of the Ingush MIA.
According to the "Interfax", on December 9, Bella's mother addressed law enforcers in Ingushetia saying that her daughter had left home and never returned.
President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov also denied any involvement of the girl in the armed underground. "She is not a suicide bomber; she just got married and moved to Moscow, from where she telephoned her parents. I don't know why someone is spreading such rumours and 'putting tags'," said Evkurov to the press.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Bella Barkinkhoeva was arrested on December 10. According to the militia, the girl arrived in to the capital's Vnukovo Airport on December 8. On the next day she telephoned from her mobile phone to her parents and said that she wanted to join the Wahhabi movement and commit a terror act in Moscow," said a source from the MIA.
The investigation is now clarifying whether she has any attitude extremist groupings and for what purpose she had arrived in Moscow, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports with reference to the OVD (Interior Division) of Karabulak.
