Today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for the Southern Federal District (SFD) has confirmed the fact of illegal detention of citizens of Ukraine at the firm "Artex-Agro", headed by Nadezhda Tsapok - mother of Sergey Tsapok, suspected of organizing the massacre in Kuschevskaya village.

Yesterday, on December 7, the story about hostages from Ukraine was narrated by State Duma Deputy Alexander Khinshtein in his statement published in the newspaper "Moskovskiy Komsomolets". According to his story, 15 persons had been illegally detained in the "Artex-Agro", where they did agrarian works. Their passports were taken away; they were not allowed out of the territory of the farm; and they were beaten. Later, two women-hostages managed to escape.

The remaining hostages were liberated in the course of operative actions. However, the court refused to initiate a criminal case, because all the Ukrainians suddenly refused from their previous evidences.

Today, the press service of the MIA of the SFD has confirmed the fact of illegal detention of citizens of Ukraine and the fact of operative actions to release them; however, the total number of former hostages was not reported, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
