In Berlin, no bomb found onboard "Aeroflot" craft

The earlier reports about a bomb onboard an "Aeroflot" aircraft, which was suspended in the Berlin "Schönefeld" Airport, were not confirmed.

As earlier reported by the "Caucasian Knot", a message was received about a bomb, allegedly planted by Chechen militants in Flight 112 "Aeroflot" in the "Schönefeld" Airport. The aircraft was towed to a distant parking lot for search, passengers were evacuated, and luggage was unloaded for inspection.

According to the latest information, there were 140 passengers onboard. As reported by the German Die Welt, the local police made an additional search of the aircraft, passengers and luggage and found no explosive devices.

The RBC adds with reference to the airline that the incident did not affect other flights.

According to the police, the message about the bomb, which arrived by fax, was signed by members of some "Team Abu al-Valida al-Ramedi".

It is also reported that there were 46 Vietnamese onboard, deported to their homeland. According to unconfirmed sources, the threat of explosion could be linked with their deportation from Germany.
