12 persons suffered in bus accident with pilgrims in Dagestan
Twelve persons were injured in a collision of a passenger bus and a Gazel, which occurred around 10:00 a.m. Moscow time in the Federal Highway "Kavkaz" near the city of Izberbash in Dagestan. They all were taken to the Izberbash city hospital.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by the spokesman of the STSI (State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, known in Russia as "GIBDD") of the Republic of Dagestan that the bus was carrying pilgrims home from the hajj, and as a result of problems with steering got onto the oncoming lane.
"A Gazel van with passenger was moving on that lane. As a result, 7 bus passengers and 5 from the Gazel were injured. The details are no clarified; the investigation was launched," said the spokesman.
