Rustam Dzeitov convicted in Ingushetia to 2.5 years of imprisonment
The Nazran District Court of Ingushetia has sentenced Rustam Dzeitov, a supposed member of an illegal armed formation (IAF) to 2.5 years of imprisonment in a minimum security penal colony. This was reported by the press service of the local FSB office.
"The investigation has gathered compelling evidences about active participation of the convict in supporting the operation of IAFs, hiding and transportation of militants, transportation and storage of weapons, ammunition and military equipment for the needs of these gangs," said an FSB source.
A criminal case against Dzeitov, born in 1982, was initiated by the investigatory division of the FSB on September 27, after he was detained in one of private households of the village of Ekazhevo, the "Interfax" reports.
According to the inquiry, Dzeitov has fully confessed of his crimes, actively cooperated with the investigation and petitioned for the "special order" of considering his case, the "SKFDnews".
