Stavropol Territory sentences local resident for raider's capture of enterprise

The Izobilnoe District Court of the Stavropol Territory has sentenced Oleg Dunis, accused of a fraudulent embezzlement of another person's company, which caused a more than 19-million-rouble-worth damage to the victim, to three years of freedom deprivation, the Prosecutor's Office of the Stavropol Territory has reported today.

According to the inquiry, in 2007, with the aim to steal a company from his friends, Dunis made a fictitious sales contract in the authorized capital, according to which he allegedly had acquired the rights on the property of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "YUG-1".

Later he made changes in the Charter of the LLC "YUG-1" by excluding the data about the founders and appointed himself to the post of the director, entitled with sole signature on banking and financial documents. Subsequently, the company was sold out to third persons; the property damage amounted to 19,687,000 roubles.

Oleg Dunis will serve his sentence in a minimum security penal colony and be subsequently under the freedom restriction regime for one year more, the RIA "Novosti" reports, noting that prosecutors did not specify the date of the court decision.

Nothing is reported also about the position of the convict and his defence, and whether the verdict will be appealed against.
