16 schoolchildren in Astrakhan got poisoned with pepper gas

After dispersion of pepper gas by an unidentified person in the building of school No 74 of Astrakhan from a gas vessel 13 schoolchildren were taken to the toxicological unit of district Alexandro-Mariinskaya hospital, three injured pupils refused hospitalization.

"The information of the incident came to the operative board of Municipal Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on Tuesday, November, 30, at 10:30 Moscow time. All the pupils were evacuated", Press Service of Municipal Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Astrakhan region reports.

16 pupils asked for medical aid, three of them refused hospitalization, the rest were taken to hospital with the diagnosis "mild degree of poisoning", "Interfax" reports.

"Caucasian Knot" has formerly reported a similar incident at school No 1 of Astrakhan. On November, 22, an unknown pupil dispersed a gas vessel with pepper gas in the corridor of the school building. 14 schoolchildren were hospitalized as a result.
