Stavropol Territory: violent death of head of village soviet is not confirmed
According the preliminary data of the investigation, the cause of the death of the head of the Irgaklin Rural Soviet, Stepnovskiy District, and her brother was poisoning with carbon monoxide, said Ekaterina Danilova, senior assistant to the Head of the Investigatory Department of the Investigatory Committee at the Prosecutor's Office (ICPO) of Russia in the Stavropol Territory.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 27, after suppressing the fire in the house of Lyubov Kokareva, head of the Irgaklin rural soviet, strongly burnt bodies of Kokareva and her brother were found among the ashes. The Dean of Orthodox Churches of the Zelenokumsk District Archpriest Father Dmitri said that according to information that he received, the head of the village soviet was murdered.
Earlier, the preliminary investigation established that Lyubov was in hostile relations with her brother, and shortly before her death the woman told the doctor that she was afraid for her life, because his brother had threatened to kill her, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Today, information was received from the forensic expert that the provisional cause of their deaths was poisoning with carbon monoxide; however, the final conclusions will be made after completion of all forensic examinations," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Ms Danilova.
