In Baku and Yerevan, co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group discuss preparations for Astana summit

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict Bernard Fassier (France), Robert Bradtke (USA) and Igor Popov (Russia), together with the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk, held a three-day - on November 25-27 - talks in Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The international mediators met the Armenian Foreign Minister Edvard Nalbandyan and acquainted him with the results of discussions held on the eve with Azerbaijani leaders in Baku. Later, they had a meeting with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, where they discussed the current stage of negotiations on Karabakh settlement, the "Armenpress" reports.

On that very day, Igor Popov and Robert Bradtke, after talks with the Armenian leadership, returned from Yerevan to Baku, while Bernard Fassier left for Paris to inform French officials about the settlement process of the Karabakh conflict, the "ANS" reports.

The co-chairs will meet again on November 29 in Astana, where on December 1-2 the summit of heads of OSCE member-states and governments will take place.
