In Krasnodar Territory, agrarians complain of salary non-payment

Fishermen of the agrarian company "Novaya Zhizn" (New Life), which is an affiliate of the Limited Liability Company (LLC) "RUST-Invest", located in Privolnaya village, Kanev District of the Krasnodar Territory, state that for many months they get no wages, while the fishery itself is in crisis. The told about it in their open letter addressed to the Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachov.

"Our enterprise is in critical situation," say the villagers. "We had a fishery here (ponds) - but now the ponds are empty; the fish died because for lack of electricity (switched off for non-payment) it was not possible to pump water into reservoirs. We had a livestock farm with over 300 heads of cattle, but for lack of fodder and electricity, everything was sold out; and we were paid our salary debts until May this year. The fields - more than 600 hectares - are overgrown with weeds; since for absence of fuel and seeds the land is not tilled."

Last year, the branch employed more than 100 workers; now, 51 remained.
"We, the employees of the affiliate are in the position of hostages - without work and wages. We want to live, work conscientiously and get timely payment for our work; all of us have families and children. We cannot understand that it is all possible in our democratic country," the workers write.

The appeal to the governor was signed by 24 workers of "Novaya Zhizn".
