Directors and accountants of three kindergartens arrested in Georgia

Personnel of the Department of Constitutional Security of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Georgia arrested directors of six kindergartens and seven accountants in Kutaisi for accusation of misappropriation of budget money.

According to the Ministry of Interior Affairs, those arrested have been: Iveta Geguchadze, Lali Tevdoradze, Mzia Sanadze, Keti Panchulidze, Tsisana Kublashvili, Tinatin Svanidze, Lamzira Liklikadze, Mzekala Charkviani and several more persons.

According to the investigation, the above mentioned persons for two years had regularly organized criminal collusion together with entrepreneurs and misappropriated the funds allotted for children's meals. By preliminary data, about two million lari have been misappropriated during this period.

Georgian legislation stipulates up to ten years of imprisonment for this kind of crimes, "Georgia-Online" reports.
