District militia officer killed in Kabardino-Balkaria
On November, 21, some unidentified people shot down a district militiaman and stole his Government-issue pistol in a district militia department of Nalchik, a source in law enforcement bodies reported.
The body of senior district militia officer with gunshot wounds was found on Sunday evening in the village of Kenzhe, in the office of district militia station. During the inspection of the scene of the accident the operative agents discovered that a Government-issue Makarov pistol with cartridges had been stolen from the victim.
The circumstances of the accident are currently being investigated. The question of starting criminal proceeding is under discussion, RIA "Novosti" reports.
