Kabardino-Balkaria: suspect of setting store on fire detained
As reported today by the press service of the local Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the resident who committed arson of a store in the city of Chegem was detained.
The grocery store located at No. 44 Kulieva Street in Chegem was set on fire at night on November 16. The amount of material damage is now established.
As established by the investigation, the above local resident aged 23 bought a pack of washing powder at the store, replaced at home the powder with some incendiary mix, set up the clock mechanism and then returned the pack to the store, the "Interfax" reports. The salesman, void of any suspicions, put the returned pack among other similar packs.
As reported by the Internet portal "Kabardino-Balkaria. World and We", prompt investigatory actions, interrogation of eyewitnesses and analysis of CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television System) allowed operative agents to establish, hot on the trail, the organizer of the crime and his accomplice.
