Man searched for kidnapping detained in Chechnya

In the southwest of Chechnya, in the foothill Achkhoi-Martan district, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) detained a man of 50, suspected of involvement in kidnapping. The alleged kidnapper was released under recognizance not to leave.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by a source from local law enforcement agencies that the man was searched by the Mozdok ROVD of North Ossetia.

The source gave no details about the person of the detainee and the incriminated crime.
