Militiamen shelled in Dagestan

As reported by the spokesman of the republic's MIA, tonight unidentified persons opened fire on militiamen in the Lakskiy District of Dagestan; there were no casualties or victims.

"The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. in the Lakskiy District of the republic. Unidentified persons opened fire on militiamen. No one was hurt," said a source from the MIA.

The MIA spokesman has added that the venue of the incident is studied by an operative-investigatory group, which tries to clear out all the circumstances, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
