Georgia: poisonous gas leakage at Rustavi factory harms 14 persons

Several persons were hospitalized after a leakage of poisonous gas in the city of Rustavi (Eastern Georgia). The victims work at the "Dzheostil" Factory in the territory of the Rustavi Metallurgical Plant.

As reported by Mamuka Chikovani, the Mayor of Rustavi, some of the victims are citizens of India.

Eight patients were transferred to Mikhailov Hospital in Tbilisi; others are treated as inpatients at the Rustavi military hospital, the IA "News-Georgia" reports.

At the moment, the health condition of the victims is stable.

According to doctors, three persons will stay in hospital; others will be discharged today after examination, the "Georgia Online" reports.

According to the victims themselves, they got poisoned when they were cutting a container with chlorine.
