Somalia pirates capture ship with Georgian citizen on board

Somalia pirates have captured the tanker "MV Hannibal II" under the guise of Panama, which was sailing from Malaysia to Egypt. There are 31 persons on board of the vessel, a native of Georgia and a Russian citizen among them.

The owner of the ship has reported that they were attacked by pirates, who climbed on board. So far, the invaders' claims are unknown.

The tanker's tonnage is 24 tons, and it was carrying oil from Pazir Gudan to Suez, reports the website of the European Union Naval Force Somalia (EUNAVFOR) - Operation Atalanta.
