Khashagulgov's children in Ingushetia still do not attend school because of a threat of kidnapping

Pyatimat Khashagulgova, resident of Karabulak, wife of Issa Khashagulgov suspected of terrorism, told a reporter of "Caucasian Knot" that she still could not take her children to school and was also concerned about her relatives' security.

"After the information was published in mass media that our children do not attend school because we are being watched over, the district militia officer and some people from the Committee of Juveniles' Affairs visited us and pretended to have taken things under their control. However, this week several cars with tinted glasses and without numbers appeared again", Khashagulgova told her story.

According to her, the militia staff are making a helpless gesture. "They say if anything happens they will start investigation. As for ourselves, we are still experiencing fear", Khashagulgova added.

After Issa's detention his wife reported to "Caucasian Knot" that their house and the members of the family were permanently being watched over.

Musa Pliyev, Issa Khashagulgov's attorney, said that it was first of all necessary to find out how grave the danger was, however, if even it was possible just to assume the probability of kidnapping the children it would hardly be advisable to take them to school.

"As for Issa, we can tell very little for we have signed a pledge of secrecy. Nevertheless, I can repeat it once again that all the accusations are groundless, there is nothing serious against him and no proofs of his guilt except the fact that members of the top brass have hurried to announce him a terrorist all over the country", Pliyev said.

According to the attorney, next week a decision is expected to be taken either to prolong Khashagulgov's arrest or to release him.

A reporter of "Caucasian Knot" has still got no answer to his official inquiry to Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation concerning Khashagulgov's case.
