Residents of Vladikavkaz are concerned about threats of terror acts

The Republic's Anti-Terrorism Committee of North Ossetia has issued a statement about a possible terror act in Vladikavkaz with use of trucks. The statement caused extreme concern in residents of the North-Ossetian capital.

The Committee asked residents and visitors of the republic to exercise extreme vigilance and immediately report to law enforcement agencies about any suspicious vehicles, objects and persons.

Besides, the militia recommends city residents not to hold any outdoor pickets and mass actions.

"I try to look around when I'm in a tram, car or fixed-route taxi. If someone puts a package, I try to check whether it will be taken away or not. Law enforcers should be more careful in their inspections. All the time we live like on a powder keg," Maya Bitarova, a resident of Vladikavkaz, told the "Caucasian Knot".

Alan Urusov, a resident of North Ossetia, also believes that law enforcers must be more attentive.

Another woman from Vladikavkaz, who preferred to remain anonymous, said that in the first place she feared for children: "I'm a pensioner and mainly sit at home. I worry for young people and children: they don't sit at home."
