Krasnodar Territory buries massacre victims

The Krasnodar Territory and Rostov-on-Don hold funerals of the victims of the mass murder committed on November 5 in Kuschevskaya village. Today, a sitting will be held in the village with participation of Alexander Tkachov, Governor of the Krasnodar Territory, and Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Russian Investigatory Committee of Russia, and on the issue of the investigation into the massacre of 12 persons.

As previously reported by the "Caucasian Knot", 12 dead bodies were found at fire extinguishing in a two-story private house in Kuschevskaya. The house belonged to the family of a local farmer Server Ametov. On November 4, guests came to him to stay overnight and celebrate the National Unity Day. Most of the victims died from stab and cut wounds. Three ignition points were found in the house; and investigators suspect arson.

According to the latest data, reported by the RIA "Novosti", the casualties are as follows: the owner of the house Server Ametov, 51; his wife Galina, 48; their daughter-in-law Elena, 19, and her one-year-old daughter Amira; their guests - the family, who came from Rostov-on-Don: financial director of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) "Aston" Vladimir Mironenko, 46, his wife and two daughters, aged five and one year; the parents of these spouses - Victor and Lydia Ignatenko; Ametov's neighbours, who came to visit them - Natalia Kasyanova, 36, and her son Pavel, 14.

At the moment, operative agents are studying several versions of the crime, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports. Apart from domestic reasons, investigators do not rule out the links of the crime with the professional activities of the victims, as the "Aston" Company is one of the largest Russian producers of foodstuffs and food ingredients and exporter of agricultural products and vegetable oils.
