Armenian Minister of Defense had a meeting with the fallen servicemen's relatives

On November, 2, Seiran Oganyan, Minister of Defense of Armenia, had a meeting with the parents of the servicemen, fallen soldiers-liberators and reserve officers and promised the parents of fallen servicemen the cases of whose death were under investigation by law enforcement bodies that all those guilty of their death would be punished as strictly as the law permits.

About fifty people came to meet the Minister of Defense, among them relatives of Artak Nazaryan and Samvel Khachatryan the investigation of whose death is under direct control of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

Artak Nazaryan had been an officer of Armed Forces of Armenia who died in unexplained circumstances in one of the military units of Tavush.

Samvel Khachatryan had been a soldier of statutory service. On October, 3, he was found hung in the cellar of the barrack of one of the military units of Armenia.

Minister of Defense declared that respective measures were being taken to clarify the circumstances of these tragic accidents.

Oganyan also received the relatives of Manvel Saribekyan who had died in Azerbaijani prison expressing his deep condolence, NEWS.am reports.
