Two passers-by injured by explosion in Makhachkala
Two local residents were wounded, when an attempt was undertaken to blow up a militia car.
"The incident occurred at 5:35 p.m. Moscow time. In one of Makhachkala streets, at the moment, when a car with PPS (patrol and post service) militiamen inside was passing by, an explosive device was triggered in the road shoulder," said a source from law enforcement bodies of the capital of Dagestan.
The militiamen were not injured, but two passers-by happened to get into the hitting area. They were hospitalized. The culprits who had planted the bomb are now searched, the "Interfax-South" reports.
