Ingush woman reports militia's pressure on her son

Tanzila Mutsolgova, a resident of the Ingush village of Ekazhevo, said that her earlier kidnapped son Ibrahim Tochiev, now under investigation, is exposed to pressure and deprivation of rights at the Nazran Interior Division for Ingushetia of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). She herself told about it to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"We don't know where else to go; they ignore us everywhere, and nobody wants to take part in our case. Despite the fact that back on August 5 information was placed on the Internet that my son was abducted allegedly by militiamen and tortured, this fact is ignored whatsoever. The investigation asserts that he was detained on August 11, while he was kidnapped earlier and kept till August 11," said the mother.

She also asserts that inspectors make gross violations of the law. Tanzila said that investigators have no other evidences of Tochiev's guilt, except of his confessions, "knocked out under torture."

Besides, she states that despite all her attempts she was not admitted to meet President Yunus-Bek Evkurov and members of the local government.
