Georgian opposition urges victims on November 7, 2007, events to get registered

The youth opposition movement "November 7" has established a registration centre for the victims of the violent dispersal of the opposition rally in Tbilisi on November 7, 2007, and calls those who suffered at those events to get registered in the context of prepared complaint to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR).

According to Dzhaba Dzhishkariani, leader of the movement, the citizens who had suffered on that day may get registered till October 19.

"We call all the victims to come to the centre at 14 Rustaveli Street, 14 and fill in a questionnaire, which will be sent to the public organization "People' Trial". On the basis of the legal opinion of this organization, a complaint to the ECtHR will be prepared," the "Georgia Today" quotes Mr Dzhishkariani as saying.

According to the initiators, two hundred victims of the dispersal of protest actions have already filled in their questionnaires, the "News-Georgia" writes.
