On October 18, North Ossetia to commemorate victims of Vladikavkaz terror act
On that day the republic will cancel all festivities and entertainment television programmes in connection with the mourning ceremonies on the 40th day after the attack near the central marketplace in Vladikavkaz.
"Since morning all the churches of Vladikavkaz will hold memorial requiems. By 11:00 a.m. relatives of the casualties and victims will come to the place of the explosion, as well as activists of youth associations and residents of North Ossetia," the "Interfax" quotes the spokesman of the Union of Youth of North Ossetia.
Because of the mourning ceremonies, central market of Vladikavkaz will be closed on October 18. Exactly at 11:20 a.m., when the bomb was triggered, a minute of silence will be announced. Youth activists will lay flowers at the venue and hold an action "Let's Stop Terror Together," the "NEWSru.com" writes.
"The action will be silent, without any appeals and slogans; its main goal is to show the people's unity against terror," said the source from the Youth Union of North Ossetia.
