Ecological rally and march held in Krasnodar

Today, the territorial capital hosted an ecological rally, after which its participants marched with slogans and posters along the city streets.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent from the venue, the participants of the rally raised the problems of deteriorated ecological situation in the Kuban River region.

In particular, the speakers talked about the construction works, which destroy the unique natural reserve "Bolshoi Utrish" under Anapa, operation of the chemical terminal of the "Eurochem" Company in the resort town of Tuapse, oil terminals of the Companies "TTDH" and "Yeisk Port-Vista" in the resort town of Yeisk, problems of Lake Karasun in Krasnodar, and complications in ecological situation in the Kanev District after bankruptcy of the agricultural enterprise RAF "Novaya Zhizn".

Also, the protesters expressed their solidarity with the defenders of Lake Baikal and Khimki Forest, and paid tribute by a minute of silence to the casualties of the flood in the Tuapse District of the Krasnodar Territory.

The event was attended by about 200 persons, no incidents were marked.

  • Two natives of Northern Caucasus injured in shootout near “Wildberries” office in Moscow
