DFSB: militant liquidated in Ingushetia was involved in resonant terror acts
Islam Tochiev, leader of the Plievo militant grouping, liquidated in the special operation conducted in the village of Plievo in Ingushetia, had to do with a number of resonant terror acts, local law enforcers assert.
According to local Department of the Federal Security Bureau (DFSB), Islam Tochiev participated in organizing and committing the terror act in April 2010 at the building of the Karabulak GOVD (Chief Interior Department), planting a bomb in the marketplace in Nazran on August 21, 2010, assassination attempt on Imam of the mosque of Ekazhevo village in August 2010, and in several other crimes - both in the Nazran District of Ingushetia and elsewhere.
Earlier, the "Caucasian Knot" reported that Tochiev was hiding in a private house in the village of Plievo and rendered armed resistance at detention. During the skirmish Tochiev was killed.
In the course of a search in the household, where Tochiev was hiding, grenades and firearms were found, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
