Two persons killed in special operation in Dagestan
In the course of a special operation conducted in the wooded area in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, two suspected militants were liquidated, the National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today in the Dagestan village Bavtugai, Kizilyurt District, two suspected militants were blocked in a private house. Their relatives were engaged in negotiations; however, according to the NAC, the militants opened fire in response to an offer to surrender.
"Two bandits were neutralized, when they rendered armed resistance. The necessary operating and investigatory activities continue. A possible criminal case is considered. There are no losses among law enforcement officer," said a source from the NAC's press service, as quoted by the ITAR-TASS.
