Seven soldiers detained in Armenia in connection with the death of soldier Khachatryan
Seven servicemen have been detained in connection with the death of Samwell Khachatryan, statutory service soldier, on October, 3, in one of the military units of Armenia.
"Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October, 3, Samwell Khachatryan aged 18 was found hung.
"After all the necessary and urgent operational search and investigative actions it became clear that a group of statutory service soldiers violating the Regulations of servicemen's interrelations had used force against Khachatryan, insulted and dishonored him", a report of Ministry of Defense of Armenia runs.
A battery commander, three statutory service sergeants and three soldiers were detained for suspicion of having committed this crime, "Novosti-Armenia" reports.
According to Panorama.am, criminal proceedings have been started on the case.
