ASU students make rally over universities of Southern Russia
A motor rally of the students of the Adyg State University (ASU), performed on October 4-6, was dated to the university's jubilee and was held under the motto "By Roads of Friendship".
Under the leadership of Ali Khatkov, Honoured Worker of Tourism of Adygea, on October 4 students started off in three offroaders to the Kuban State University (Krasnodar). From there - to the Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don), Stavropol State University (Stavropol), Kabardino-Balkarian State University (Nalchik) and Karachai-Circassian State Technological Academy (Cherkessk). The rally was over on October 6 back at the Adyg State University.
"Our mission is to strengthen the intercollegiate friendship of the Southern and North-Caucasian Federal Districts," said Ali Khatkov, head of the rally and leader of the "Edelweiss" sports and tourist centre. "Bonding cultural and spiritual universe based on national values is the most urgent today's task of the classical universities of Northern Caucasus."
University teachers actively supported the idea of the unifying motor rally and noted with regret that this age of information technologies reduces the time of live dialogue, which, nevertheless, remains an everlasting value.
