Direct Georgia-Iran flights postponed till October 15

The opening of regular Tbilisi-Tehran air flights, which was scheduled on October 1, has been postponed by two weeks, said Nino Giorgobiani, head of the press service of the Airzena Georgian Airways. It is supposed that flights will start since October 15.

According to Ms Giorgobiani, now representatives of the airline are in Iran negotiating with the Iranian party on further details.

She reported earlier that the flight Tbilisi-Tehran-Tbilisi would be carried out twice a week starting October 1, the "News-Georgia" reports.

The Airzena Georgian Airways was once flying to Iran, the "Georgia Online" reports with reference to the "Kavkaz-Press".
