After emergency landing in Chechnya passengers go home

All the passengers on the Moscow-Grozny flight, which made yesterday, on October 3, an emergency landing in the airport of Volgograd because of bomb information, have got to the destination. Law enforcement bodies report that there were no victims.

Let us remind you that the Yak-42 Moscow-Grozny aircraft took off from Vnukovo Airport at 3:14 p.m. After a few minutes the airport received an anonymous call from a man saying that a bomb was planted in the aircraft. After its landing in Volgograd, all the passengers were evacuated. Specialists searched the aircraft and found no bomb. Then, the Yak-42 safely arrived in Grozny. All 76 passengers and aircraft crew members are OK.

A source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) also said that according to intelligence services, the anonymous telephone call about the bomb was made from Belarus. "The call that the Yak-42 was mined came from Minsk. As far as we know, the culprit was identified and detained. The reason of his act was, presumably, a quarrel with relatives," he said.
