One of Chechen natives detained in France is arrested
The native of Chechnya, who was detained on September 27 in Western France, is kept behind bars within the investigation of terrorist activities, said the Paris Prosecutor's Office.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 27 operative agents detained in western France, within an operation against suspected terrorist network, three natives of Chechnya.
"I have information only about two persons - the men detained in the cities of Nantes and Le Mans on September 27. One of them was released," said the spokesman of the Paris Prosecutor's Office.
"The custody was appointed by the inspector, not the prosecutor's office. In this case, the confidentiality of the investigation is observed," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the Office.
