Specialists do not confirm two Siberian plague cases in Krasnodar Territory
The "Rospotrebnadzor" (Russian Federal Agency for Consumer Supervision) has not confirmed the diagnosis of "Siberian plague" in two hospitalized farm workers from the Beloglinskiy District, the head of the territorial agency's department has reported today.
As previously reported by the "Caucasian Knot", cattle deaths from Siberian plague were registered in Uspenskaya village, Beloglinskiy District. Two patients were brought from this village to the clinical territorial hospital in Krasnodar with the same preliminary diagnosis.
The source said that "experts have conducted laboratory studies; and the laboratory diagnosis of Siberian plague was not confirmed in both patients," the RIA "Novosti" reports.
