Woman from Kabardino-Balkaria states that FSB agent took away her car
Rita Kanametova, a resident of the city of Baksan in Kabardino-Balkaria has addressed her complaint to the prosecutor's office of the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD) and human rights organizations saying that a person, who presented himself as an employee of the FSB Department for Kabardino-Balkaria, confiscated her car BMW-520. Later it appeared that there is no such employee in the Department.
"On June 15 I bought a BMW-520. On June 23, at 7:03, the car was driven away by unidentified persons from the yard of my sister at No. 1 Bolshevik Street in the city of Baksan," runs Ms Kanametova's application.
For more than two months already the woman does not know where her car is. When lawyer Ruslan Khadzhiev made an inquiry to the Department of the FSB for Kabardino-Balkaria, an answer came from there, signed by A. Popov, division head, that "the Department made no actions at the above address."
