Non-government kindergarten in Adygeia fined for mass poisoning of the children

Maikop municipal court had a session on administrative material from Rospotrebnadzor concerning a non-government educational organization "Beriozka Plus" where a mass poisoning of children had been registered.

According to "Caucasian Knot", a mass children's infection of salmonellosis occurred in the kindergarten of Maikop. The children started being taken to hospital since September, 9. 43 children out of 208 inhabitants on the kindergarten were infected with salmonellosis.

An inspection carried out by the public prosecutor's office of Maikop together with Rospotrebnadzor department of Russia in Adygeia discovered facts of violations of sanitary-epidemic regime in the kindergarten, non-fulfillment of their working duties by its personnel, absence of regular control of sanitary state of the kitchen and the children's food by the manager and the paramedic.

According to Press Service of Maikop municipal court, based on the adjudication the non-commercial educational organization "Beriozka Plus" undergoes an administrative suspension of its activities beginning from 10.00, 11.09.2010. Besides, an administrative fine of 30000 rubles was imposed upon "Beriozka Plus", "Yuga.ru" portal reports.
