Members of the top brass in Dagestan report destruction of a gunmen's leader during an special operation

During two special operations which took place in Dagestan on September, 12, thirteen people involved in armed underground were killed, among them the leader of Kizil-jurt armed group, two militia men perished, too. This was reported by informational center of National Anti-terrorist committee (NAC).

There had been news before that during an special operation in the settlement of Komsomolskoie three supposed gunmen were killed and in an anti-terrorist operation in Makhachkala eight men were murdered.

NAC stated that "by 09.00 Moscow time ten members of gangster underground in Makhachkala had been disarmed". 

ITAR-TASS reports that Shamil Magomednabiev, leader of Kizil-jurt group of gunmen, born in 1977 who had been in federal search was recognized. He had been a brother of Khazrat Sharipov, head of administration of Komsomolskoie settlement, who perished on the same day.

Magomed Ismailov, Deputy Minister of inner affairs of Dagestan, had formerly stated that the supposed gunmen killed in Makhachkala had been involved in the murder of Gapal Gajiev, head of inter-regional operational search unit of Chief department of the Ministry of inner affairs at North-Caucasian federal district (NCFD), committed in the morning of September, 12 in Makhachkala.
