Four suspected militants liquidated in special operation in Sergokalin District of Dagestan

The active phase of the special operation conducted in Verkhnie Makhargi village, Sergokalin District of Dagestan, is over. Four persons, who rendered, according to power agents, armed resistance, were liquidated; a SOBR (special weapons assault team) fighter was also lost.

Let us remind you that a grouping of suspected militants of up to 4 persons was blocked in a private house of the village. It was reported that the suspected militants opened fire in response to the offer to surrender; then, special fighters launched a storm.

The liquidated persons have been identified; however, in the interests of the inquiry this data is not disclosed yet. The antiterrorist operation was conducted by the forces of the MIA and FSB of the Republic of Dagestan, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

A source from local law enforcement bodies said that, by preliminary data, "there are losses among the participants of the special operation; it is known about one lost SOBR fighter," the ITAR-TASS reports.

Let us note here that today another special operation is conducted in the city of Derbent; there, a private house in Agasieva Street is blocked. As reported by law enforcers, there are up to three persons in the house.
