Detainee dies in Krasnodar SIZO
A man of 24 died in one of the cells of the investigatory isolation facility (known as "SIZO") No. 1 of the city of Krasnodar. The ICPO for the Krasnodar Territory is conducting a pre-inquiry check of the circumstances of the detainee's death.
The casualty had been accused of a robbery; therefore it was decided to put him behind bars.
In the course of inspecting the place of the incident and the body, the inspector detected no traces of any crime committed against the casualty; however, it is known that the man complained to his cellmates of pain in the breast, the "Interfax" reports.
At the same time, the Life News writes that a heatstroke is thought to be a preliminary reason of the death of the detainee Ruslan Klimovich. On that day, the air temperature in the region reached 42 degrees Centigrade; and in the confined cell the air was up to 50 degrees. The detainee was in custody since August 13 this year.
Now, a check is underway to establish all the circumstances and reasons of the incident; then, a procedural decision will be made.
