Dagestan: district FSB head killed and militiaman wounded
In Dagestan, today in the morning, the car of lieutenant colonel Ahmed Abdullaev, head of the Russia's FSB division for the Tsumadin District of the republic, was blow up killing the owner. Then, the unknown persons, who organized the explosion, wounded a militiaman, the Russia's ICPO has reported.
Under preliminary data, the explosion was triggered at 8:00 a.m., when the FSB officer was taking his service car in order to go to work. According to Vladimir Markin, official spokesman of the ICPO, a militiaman, who happened to be nearby, heard the sound of the explosion, ran up to the car and saw two strangers, who tried to run towards the forest.
"In answer to the demand to stop, they opened fire and heavily wounded the militiaman; then, they disappeared," Mr Markin said.
The FSB officer died in situ from received wounds, the RIA "Dagestan" reports.
