Militiaman killed in Ingushetia, his wife wounded
Last night unknown persons shelled the house of the head of the personnel division of the Sunzha ROVD of Ingushetia; the militiaman was lost, and his wife was hospitalized, said a source in law enforcement bodies of the republic.
The incident happened at about 3 a.m. in Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, Sunzha District.
The criminals got over the fence into the household of the militia lieutenant colonel and opened sub-machine gun fire at the owner and his wife. The woman was wounded and hospitalized.
In the place of the incident, employees of the investigatory-operative group found cartridge cases of different calibres and a silent shooting attachment to Makarov pistol, The RIA "Novosti" reports.
