Azerbaijani soldier lost his way and got in captivity, his relatives say
Roman Novruz ogly Husseinov, junior sergeant of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, who crossed the contact line in the evening on August 27 and was captured by Karabakh troops, had just lost his ways while returning to his unit, as his father Novruz Husseinov asserts.
According to the Karabakh party, in the evening on August 27, Roman Novruz ogly Husseinov crossed the contact line and surrendered. According to their data, he did it so because of hazing spread in the military unit of the Azerbaijani soldier.
His relatives believe his voluntary pass-over to the Armenian party impossible. According to their version, Roman could lose his way and occasionally come to Armenian positions, the ANS reports.
So far, as reported by the "Aze.az", there were no official comments of the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, State Commission for Captured and Missing Persons or Azerbaijani representative office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
