Ingushetia to resume alternative parliament
The city of Nazran has held a sitting of members of Ingush kins, where a decision was made to resume the activity of the alternative parliament – Mekhk-Kkhel.
An activist of the social movement "Fair Ingushetia" has reported that the decision has to do with dissatisfaction of the residents of Ingushetia with the policy of the current leaders of the republic.
The Mekhk-Kkhel was founded by the Ingush opposition in February 2008 in reply to pressure of the authorities, kidnappings and extrajudicial executions in Ingushetia.
After Yunus-Bek Evkurov was appointed President of Ingushetia, it was decided to suspend the alternative parliament.
Most of the deputies elected earlier (in 2008) at kin congresses agreed to join the new Mekhk-Kkhel, the "Gazeta.Ru" writes.
