Two persons disappeared in Dagestan

Abubakr Rizvanov, a resident of Makhachkala and director of the media centre "Khuda-Media", and his friend Timur (Suleiman) Kurbanmagomedov have disappeared. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed about it by Karim Magomedov, Rizvanov's brother.

"Yesterday, on August 20, at 4 p.m. Abubakr and Timur left their office aiming to buy a cartridge. They promised to return in 30 minutes, but since Abubakr and Timur did not appear, their worried friends started calling them, but nobody answered to telephone calls," said Magomedov.

Then, according to the source, "they alarmed friends and relatives." Magomedov said that they immediately addressed the on duty units of the republic's and city FSB and MIA, but these bodies had no information.

Rizvanov's relatives addressed journalists for help: his photo and statement about his disappearance were put on the TV of Dagestan. Besides, relatives addressed human rights activists. According to Karim Magomedov, Rizvanov and his friend were not registered by militia; both were practicing Moslems.
